Abstract

This paper uses single factor experimental method, the turning experiment for Ti6Al4V titanium alloywas carried out with uncoated cemented carbide tools and TiAlN coated carbide tools.Through analyzing tool lifespan, cutting force, cutting temperature and workpiece surface roughness during machining process, the cutting performances of two kinds of cutting tools were obtained, which can be as a technical support for turning titanium alloy.
