THE EXPERIENCE OF WEST METROPOLITAN AREA'S DEVELOPMENT AND ITS MEANING TO CHINA

The conception of Metropolitan Area is familiar to urban planning and urban geographical society.However,when use this conception and ideal to deal with urban concentrated area,such as middle-southern of Liaoning,Yangtze Delta Area urban concentrated Area,Beijing-Tianjin-Tangsan Area and Zhujiang Delta urban concentrated Area,to explain and guide its social-spatial organization and structure is really novel.In this article authors analyses these facts—the influence of metropolitan area,the development of regional metropolitan area, which are the power of metropolitan area's developing.Then,draw out that it would be understand in three facets:transportation infrastructure;housing and employment and perspective development.At last,authors point out that metropolitan development method is not the only way but a kind of integration and complementary.
