Abstract
The purpose of this study was to analyze the effect size of the aerobic exercise program on body fat percentage and blood lipid profile, and the difference in effect size of the exercise program between exercise programs based on calorie expenditure and general exercise prescription with exercise intensity, time, and frequency on body fat percentage. For this purpose, 67 aerobic exercise articles(75 research number) designed as experimental studies were analyzed by Meta-analysis, and the following results were obtained.BR Since the effect size of aerobic exercise of %body fat reduction and the blood lipid level are usually shown in more than medium(-. 67) and moderate and more than medium(-. 53, -. 61, -.65) each other, it is likely that the existing exercise effectiveness has been overestimated. Thus, comprehensive obesity management programs are needed, including exercise, nutrition intake, obesity education, and behavioral modification therapy. Also, the aerobic exercise program, which accounts for calorie consumption, was found to have a greater effect on the decrease in body fat compared to a workout program that applied conventional exercise prescriptions. Therefore, in the subsequent field of exercise, exercise should be taken into account for the exercise of one and weekly calorie consumption rather than exercise intensity, exercise time, and exercise frequency applied simply.
