Abstract

[Objective] To investigate genes associated with the drug-resistance of Imipenem antibiotics in Pseudomonas aeruginosa(PAE) isolated from clinical patients.[Methods] Genes including TEM,SHV,OXA-10,IMP,oprD2,CARB,blaDHA,VIM,PER,GES and VEB were detected by PCR amplification in 16 PAE isolates.[Results] TEM,SHV,IMP,OXA-10,oprD2,CARB,blaDHA,VIM,PER,GES and VEB genes were positive in 25.00%,31.25%,31.25%,12.50%,100%,6.30%,6.30%,6.30%,0,6.30% and 0 of 16 isolates. Some of the strains carried more than 3 resistance genes.[Conclusion] Pseudomonas aeruginosa carries various and more than one beta-lactamase genes in clinical Patients.
