Abstract
Objective To investigate the drug-resistant genes associated disinfectants and β-lactam antibiotics in Pseudomonas aeruginosa resistanted to imipenem isolated from the PLA 98th Hospital,Huzhou, Zhejiang province. Methods 28 strains of Pseudomonas aeruginosa were isolated from hospitalized patients, and drug-resistant genes were analyzed by PCR and verificated by DNA sequencing. Results The positive rates of qacE△1,TEM,OXA genes in 28 strains of P. aeruginosa were 85.7%,71.4%,and 3.6%,respectively. The OXA gene was OXA-10 subtype(GenBank accession number:AY841859).The oprD gene was lack in 25(89.3%)isolates.Genes of IMP,VIM,SHV,PER,VEB,GES,MIR,and DHA were not found in all 28 isolates tested. Conclusions There are very high positive percentages of genes of both qacE△1 and TEM in Pseudomonas aeruginosa resistanted to imipenem isolated clinically, and at least 2 kinds of β-lactamases exsiste including TEM and OXA-10. The oprD gene lack are the important mechanism of Pseudomonas aeruginosa resistanted to imipenem.
