Abstract
By chemical analysis methods it was shown that from weakly acid thiocyanate solutions both the hydroxy and oxy complexes of Zr containing two thiocyanate groups are extracted. The introduction of sulfuric acid to the system reduces the distribution coefficient of Zr and Hf but increases their partition. Dithiocyanate oxyhydroxycomplexes and tetrathiocyanate complexes of Zr are extracted from sulfuric acid solutions in tributylphosphate. (trauth)
