Abstract

In this paper, a UWB omnidirectional dipole antenna with composite three-dimensional structures is proposed. The antenna is composed of six similar units. Through simulating in CST software, the VSWR of this antenna is almost below 2 and the out-of-roundness the H plane is less than 3dB in 0.87-60 GHz. Moreover, the antenna is fed by coaxial cable which is easy to implement in various engineering scenarios. The presented antenna has good UWB omnidirectional radiation pattern, which shows great value in the fields of communication and radar system.
