Abstract

Abstract The introduction of recombinant DNA techniques has made possible to produce proteins on a large scale. These protein therapeutics are potentially immunogenic, inducing antibodies in patients after a certain period of treatment. This article gives an overview of the current knowledge about the immunogenicity of therapeutic proteins.
