Abstract

The Present Study Investigates the Alazar Chay Watershed Flood Formation which has been affected by Severe Flood events with Many Financial and Financial losses. The Methods used include available Documentary Resources, Kirpich method to calculate the Time of Water Concentration in the Basin, and the Experimental Methods of Calculating the Instantaneous Flood discharge in the Basins with no discharge Statistics. The Results of This Research indicate the role of natural factors and human factors in increasing the potential of flood-lands of Alazar Chay Watershed. As the Results of the , Kirpich, Krieger, Fanning and Meyer Methods indicate the low water concentrations in the basin and the high instantaneous flood discharge in the basin. Therefore, Management measures such as dam Construction at the mouth of the basin, or Estimation of Water Availability in the basin, and Prevention of Land degradation and and use change in the Basin, are Necessary to reduce the damage caused by Floods in Alazar Chay Watershed Basin. Keywords: Flooding,Watershed, Alazar Chay, Water Time of Concentration,Output Instanta- neous Flood
