Abstract
The article examines the life and work of the contemporary artist Adam Pendleton. Particular focus is given to his work in printmaking and painting. Additional topics discussed include his participation in the group exhibition Adventures of the Black Square: Abstract Art and Society 1915-2015, at the Whitechapel Gallery in London, England, from January 15th through April 6, 2015, his work in abstract art and his use of the color black in his art.
