Abstract

In this paper a band-stop filter, which is based on a microstrip transmission line, is studied. The microstrip is used to excite magnetostatic surface waves in a YIG film. Simulation results are presented and compared to the measured insertion loss of this filter. It was shown that experimental frequency responses qualitatively coincide with the frequency dependences calculated by the ANSYS Electronics software.
