Abstract
With the continuous improvement of people's living standard, the demand for power supply quality of the power grid has become increasingly high, and how to make timely and accurate reactive compensation for power grid has become the difficult point of the present study. This article mainly introduced the theory, the principle of reactive power compensation for electric network, and several kinds of reactive power compensation method, and the analysis of its principle and characteristics of several methods for the existing problems, and introduces the research status of the reactive power compensation technology at home and abroad and the direction of future development.
