Abstract
AbstractThe treatment cyantraniliprole 10.26% OD @ 600 ml/ha emerged as the most effective treatment among the tested insecticides against diamondback moth and gave more yield of marketable cabbage head, followed by chlorantraniliprole 18.5% SC @ 50 ml/ha, flubendiamide 20% WG @ 50 g/ha, novaluron 10% EC @ 750 ml/ha, metaflumizone 22% SC @ 750 ml//ha, diafenthiuron 50% WP @ 600 g/ha and fipronil 5% SC @ 1000 ml/ha. The mean larval count after second spray and yield of marketable cabbage heads in the different treatment ranged from 0.64 to 2.32 and 84.33 to 132 q/ha respectively as against 2.46 and 63.33 q/ha in untreated control. Cyantraniliprole 10.26% OD was recorded less number of larvae (0.64 larvae/plant) with the highest yield (132 q/ha).
