Abstract
The effects of putrecine on the feeding, survival and the activities of protective enzymes of diamondback moth Plutella xylostella(L.) larva were studied. The result showed that the consumed leaf area, the survival rate, the pupation rate and the activities of SOD and POD of the diamondback moth were significantly higher than those of the controls. While there was no significantly difference in pupa weight, eclosion rate, the activities of CAT between two groups.
