Abstract

Triple band microstrip patch antenna is yet to design for 5G Application. The paper proposed a triple band microstrip patch antenna for 5G communication. Here, Rogers RT Duroid-5880 is used having a low relative permittivity, εr = 2.2 as a substrate with thickness 0.25 mm. The proposed antenna is designed and simulated by IE3D and HFSS software. Finally, their outcome is compared by HFSS software. Simulation result shows that the proposed antenna provides reflection coefficient less than -10 dB, good gain & bandwidth at (24.4/28/38 GHz) having comparatively less antenna size and substrate thickness.
