Abstract

This document describes and summarizes the environmental impact analysis and comparative evaluaition of alternatives being considered to relieve overcrowding on the E and F lines and other improvements of transit service in the Borough of Queens, New York. Four build alternatives and a no additional construction option are being considered. The five alternatives exhibit marked differences in extent of new service, costs and some environmental consequences.
