Enriching embroidery: learning enhances practice

Paper on e-learning resource in progress presented at Designs on eLearning conference UAL. Related to 'Clip Cetl: enhancing textile practice' short paper presented at 1st Blended Learning conference 2006. Building on this conference presentation of the digital learning resource the later paper included the prototyping of Clip Cetl funded camera equipment to support learning of detailed technical delivery/ demonstration. Overview Designs on eLearning, the international conference in the use of technology for teaching and learning in art, design and communication was held at the University of the Arts London from the 14 to 16 September 2005. The conference focused on established practice in the field, on innovations in teaching and learning with technology, on the challenges and successes presented by the visual nature of our discipline, and on the benefits of online and blended learning.
