Abstract
Objective To obtain the density growth and decay trend with season of Culex tritaeniorhynchus in Liaoning province, and provide scientific evidence for Japanese encephalitis control.MethodsCollecting the mosquito by light traps.ResultsThe 768 Culex tritaeniorhynchus were caught,it occupied 7.23% of total amount of mosquitoes in 2007.The active period of Culex tritaeniorhynchus in Liaoning province was from July to September, the peak period was from August to September.ConclusionThe seasonal distribution of Culex tritaeniorhynchus in Liaoning province was correlated with the Japanese encephalitis incidence of human.
