Abstract
A general discussion on the thermal efficiency of electric and gas domestic appliances is presented. The efficiency of modern coal-fired appliances and the factors to be taken into account in assessing the performance of coal appliances, such as maintenance, radiant heating, ventilation and throat restriction and the heat absorbed by chimney brick work are discussed. A table gives thermal efficiencies for 7 types of coal-fired appliances.
A significance statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
A contribution statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
Method details are not available in the OpenAlex metadata.
Findings are not separately available in the OpenAlex metadata.
Limitations are not available in the OpenAlex metadata.
Application details are not available in the OpenAlex metadata.
