Abstract

Employee motivation is becoming more and more popular topic in the companies. Employers focus their attention to motivation theories to get the best from the workers. Employee motivation receives desired attention in each economical sphere. When designing motivation system, it is inevitable to take into consideration employees' preferences and interests. Appropriate stimulation reflects in work performance and results, and therefore in the whole-company results. On the other hand, employees, who lack motivation, spread uncomfortable climate on a workplace and cause high fluctuation. Highly motivated employee works much more effectively and efficiently than an employee lacking interest and joy. The strongest motivator is said to be company's trust in people. There is the base of understanding, team spirit and favourable working atmosphere.
