Abstract

A single mathematical model cannot represent a physical system entirely. Disturbance signals or system parameter variations may induce uncertainties in the system. In such a scenario, a good control system should be robust and give a consistent performance. This paper presents the systematic procedure of modelling uncertainties, designing a controller using H∞method and analysis of its robustness.
