Abstract

Dance legends Taane Mete and Taiaroa Royal will stage their latest work 'Nga Haue e Wha' in Wellington in June 2011. Taane and Tai, through their Okareka Dance Company, have fused contempary dance, other art mediums, Maori myth and tradition. The pair are joined by dancer and choreographer Ross McCormack and composer Eden Mulholland. In other news, the new 'New Zealand Dance Company' rehearsals were launched on Easter Tuesday at Unitec's dance studio. The 'Body Festival 2011' will take place in Christchurch September 23rd to October 16th 2011.
