Abstract
Simulation is effective as the principal medium for introducing logic circuits in computer engineering programs conforming to IEEE recommendations. The Apodix teaching simulator provides gate and register level simulation for laboratory use and allows off-campus work on personal computers. Learning to use Apodix takes inexperienced students 1–2 hours.
