Protection and utilization of variation type of wild tea resources and local tea varieties in Guizhou.

The wild tea resource is the important basis for studying tea origin,evolution and classification.The paper discusses the species and distribution of wild tea subgenus(Thea L.) resources found in Guizhou province,expounds the living condition of acclimatized and cultivation local population varieties briefly,and points out that collecting and protecting wild tea resources and variation types of local tea varieties is the basis for promoting sustainable development of tea industry in Guizhou.
