Abstract

The effects of 8 rootstocks (Kyoho, 1202, 5BB, 110R, 99R, Huajia No. 8, 8B and SO4) on the photosynthesis of grafted Yatomi Rosa grape cultivar were studied by potted culture. The results showed that under the conditions of shelter cultivation, the diurnal variation patterns of the net photosynthetic rate appeared as a typical bimodal curve. Diurnal course of net photosynthetic rate (Pn) was affected by the rootstocks, Y/99R,Y/Huajia No. 8 and Y/1202 gave high net photosynthetic rate (Pn), the peak value appearing at 11:00 was 118.8%, 106.0% and 77.3% respectively more than own-rooted seedlings. 1202, 110R, 99R and Huajia No.8 gave high stomatal conductance (Gs), the peak value appearing at 9:00 was 750.0%, 700.0%, 650.0% and 550.0% respectively more than own-rooted seedlings. The values of transpiration rate (Tr) from plants on 99R, Huajia No. 8, 110R, and 1202 were significantly higher than those on other rootstocks, and Kyoho and 8B gave in- termediate values.
