Abstract
The type specimen of Pentremites godoni, type species for the genus, having been destroyed by fire in 1866, a neoholotype and supplementary neoholotype (new paratype) are designated. They are specimens 139103 and 139104 respectively in the U.S. National Museum, Washington, D.C.
