Abstract
Upgraded biogas injected into a natural gas grid \nprovide considerable increase of renewable energy share within \nthe natural gas-fired systems. The costs of biomethane produced \nin distributed biogas plants and injected into the natural gas grid \nwere determined. The results show that under the most favorable \nscenario, biomethane production is more expensive than natural \ngas by approximately 35%.
