Abstract
Community Housing Organisations (CHOs) have proved that community housing projects can be delivered on time, on budget. Community housing offers an affordable alternative for individuals to the private rental market. The goal of the CHOs is to ensure that those in greatest need of housing are not left on the streets. The sector has played a key role in delivering thousands of additional social housing dwellings as a response to the federal government's stimulus strategies.
