Abstract
The present experiment has been conducted to study the changes in several endogenous hormones during the in vitro formation of Dioscorea fordii Prain et Burk(variety Guihuai 2) bulbils using ELISA.The results showed a significant increase in GA3,ABA,IAA,ZR and JA contents at the 20th day of culture,followed by a decrease from 20-40th day.During the late stage of culture,contrary to GA3 content,ABA,IAA,ZR and iPA contents increased gradually.The balance among different endogenous hormones also changed regularly.Ratio of ABA/GA3,ZR/GA3 and iPA/GA3 decreased initially during first 20 days,then kept rising during the later stages.IAA/GA3 and JA/GA3 increased gradually from the initial stage of culture.
