This paper examines the nature and necessity of financial and economic analysis in the financial decision-making and implementation process, management of financial and economic activities of commercial banks. Displays the role of analysis in the management of financial and economic activities of banks are objects and task analysis at different stages of the management of financial and economic activities of banks. The study formed the general stages of the management process in a commercial bank. Досліджується сутність та необхідність фінансово-економічного аналізу під час прийняття фінансових рішень та здійснення процесу управління фінансово-економічною діяльністю комерційних банків. Відображається роль аналізу в системі управління фінансово-економічною діяльністю банків, наводяться об’єкти та завдання аналізу на різних етапах управління фінансово-економічною діяльністю банків. За результатами дослідження формуються етапи загального управлінського процесу в комерційному банку.
