서 론 검시(postmortem investigation)는 죽음에 대한 조사이 고, 죽음에 대한 법률적 판단을 위하여 시체 및 그 주변의 현장을 포함하여 수사의 관점에서 종합적으로 조사하는 것 을 말한다.한편 검시(postmortem examination)는 변사 체 등 시신에 대해 의학적으로 검사를 하는 것을 말하며, 검 안(postmortem inspection)과 부검(autopsy)
