Abstract

Abstract A new distribution map is provided for Monochamus sutor (Linnaeus). Coleoptera: Cerambycidae. Hosts: fir ( Abies alba, A. holophylla, A. nephrolepis and A. sibirica ), larch ( Larix gmelinii and L. sibirica ), spruce ( Picea abies, P. jezoensis, P. koraiensis and P. obovata ) and pine ( Pinus sibirica and P. sylvestris ). Information is given on the geographical distribution in Europe (Albania, Austria, Belarus, Bosnia-Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Hungary, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Moldova, the Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Romania, Russia, Serbia, Slovakia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland and Ukraine) and Asia (Heilongjiang, Jilin, Liaoning, Nei Menggu and Qinghai, China; Georgia; Iran; Japan; Kazakhstan; Korea Democratic People's Republic; Korea Republic; and Mongolia).
