Abstract
The diameter growth of 23-years-old hybrid progenies of 63 families was analyzed at Qingshan forest center of Linkou County. The result showed that there was some differences among the species of larch. The difference of the growth reached at the 1% significant level of Japanese larch × Larix gmelinii and Larix gmelinii × Japanese larch. The diameter growth of Japanese larch × Larix gmelinii was higher than Larix gmelinii × Japanese larch whether population or individual. However there was some specific combining ability of individual.
