Abstract

The effects of different water treatment on the growth and grain yield of late season rice were studied. The results showed that, the plant height of Kyou 817 and its leaf area and length were reduced under no water layer irrigation;but under the dry and water irrigation, the peak of tillers occurred ahead, surface temperature of farmland increased, plant height uniformed. The yield especially fertility decreased after full-heading,the treatment of T1,T2 and T3 the yield respectively decreased 48.8 %,46.1 % and 21.0 % compared with CK,and the fertility decreased 38.8 %,37.3 % and 15.2 % respectively. The earlier stage the water supply was cut of at the more serious the yield reduce.
