Abstract
Objective: To investigate control effect of anti-epileptic seizures drugs on febrile convulsion related epilepsy. Methods: Selected from January 2013 to February 2015 in our hospital 190 cases febrile convulsion related epilepsy, compared different AEDs on febrile convulsion related epilepsy control effect. Results: A total of 190 patients used five kinds AEDs drugs, including valproate, topiramate, clonazepam, phenobarbital, levetiracetam; the top three proportion AEDs were topiramate, valproate and clonazepam, respectively 87.20%, 64.47% and 43.50%; 117 of 190 patients in the combination therapy, accounting for 86.05%, monotherapy 12 cases, accounting for 13.95%; monotherapy and combination therapy for seizure control results were not statistically significant ( P>0.05); valproate, topiramate and clonazepam on seizures improvement had best effect, significantly better than phenobarbital and levetiracetam, while phenobarbital and levetiracetam on the seizures improvement effect showed no statistically significant (P>0.05). Conclusion: Febrile convulsion related epilepsy treatment should be preferred valproate, topiramate and clonazepam, three kind of drugs control effect is good, it is worthy of clinical use.
