Abstract
With a significant amount of increase in the wireless devices, it has become tough to optimize a macro cell and hence it led to the problem of infirmed voice and data reception within the macrocell. Out of the numerous ways, (i.e. microcell, hotspots, etc.), the femtocell is a much less expensive option that can be installed by the end consumer. In this work, we examine the performance of femtocells in macro cell environment in the presence of Interference. We also study the spectral efficiency and SNR performance of Femtocell network in existing macro cell environment and graphically analyze the results through figures.
