Version Control for Metadata in unified database console

Abstract
Many information systems of enterprise and department changes frequently in the information construction process. It has an important significance to effectively organize and manage the metadata which describe the data structure of resources in the database. This paper presents a metadata management model in unified database console that manages the data sources and tracks the changes of the application data model and then discusses in detail the model of version control in this environment and provides an appropriate and effective implementation for the aim to effectively manage the metadata.
