Abstract
The requirement of accessing more information among different information systems has attracted the attention of the whole society. The paper shows methods of sharing more data with the multidatabase system and data warehouse. On this basis a new model of information sharing platform is developed. The paper explains the process of achieving the model in detail. Basing on the distributed database, the model can use global metadata to access different kinds of local databases. By the metadata and the metadata foundation library, the model can also accomplish the replication between deferent kinds of databases. So the model is more flexible and more extensible to manage information among different information systems.
