Abstract
AC-driven high field thin film electroluminescent (TFEL) displays based on inorganic light emitting layers have reached a general acceptance in demanding display applications where excellent performance is required. It is believed that this type of displays can be seen as the ultimate flat panel display due to its all solid state structure which is advantegeous among all competing technologies.
