A novel computerized drawings management system

Abstract

This paper demonstrates how to build a management system of engineering drawings in the DAO way based on Jet engine in the AutoCAD software. In this engineering-applicable system, the design and management of the drawings are realized in the same environment, and the system integrates the two tasks together. As a result, with the system, the searching, modifying and filing of drawings are facilitated.
