Construction and implementation outcomes evaluation of community health management information system

The construction characteristics and corresponding outcomes of community health management information system based on resident electronic health record (EHR) in Town J of Ningbo city were analyzed in the paper. The results showed that a intensive, scientific community health management information system based on EHR, which merged multiple functions including basic medicine, public health service, medical insurance, medical cooperation, performance assessment and health administration into an integral whole, was developed in Town J. The new-type lifetime digitalization community health service and health management model was innovatively built. The new model has facilitated the sharing of resident health information. Better social and economic benefits have been obtained. Work efficiency of community health service has been obviously enhanced. The average drug expense per patient was obviously dropped out. It was deserved to apply in a large scale.
