Abstract

The 2000s and early 2010s were boom years for investment in Australia, with a surge in construction of new infrastructure funded by both the public and private sectors. While this cycle in investment has turned down in recent years, its legacy is a whole new built environment in our cities and regions that needs to be operated and maintained.
