Abstract
Performance optimization with enhanced RISC –performance computing (Power-PC) is RISC architecture. It was built on the basis of high performance and low cost processor. It can execute multiple instructions on 64-bits of data with 64-bit wide data path and register. This paper presents the overviews of PowerPC G5 processor such as history, registers, and instruction types. Furthermore, we provide the design principles and advantages of PowerPC G5 processor, and perform comparison of Pentium and PowerPC G5 of microprocessor.
A significance statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
