Abstract

WIMAX stands for Wireless Interoperability for Microwave Access. It is a telecommunication technology that provides Internet connectivity, data and voice services over long distances in several ways. These services can only be effective if it is available during the movement of node so mobility is important in wireless network. So, this paper analysis the performance of mobile nodes during handover under different speeds in mobile WIMAX network. There are number of parameters to measure the performance like Throughput, WIMAX delay, Handover delay, MOS value etc.
