Abstract
This article introduces related research background of TDD LTE-A and WiMAX-A,meanwhile,it analyzes thetheory about vertical handoff.Based on actual characteristic of these two heterogenous networks,it puts forward a strategy for vertical handoff,and designs aprocess for switching between LTE-A and WiMAX-A.At last,Matlabsimulation results shows that this hand off scheme can reduce the ping-pong effect effectively.
