Abstract
About 260 Christians have undergone training in Canberra to lobby politicians and ask them to remain committed to Australia's Millennium Development Goals. The move was part of the fourth 'Voices for Justice' event conducted by Micah Challenge, an organisation focused on the alleviation of world poverty and the promotion of the Goals. The 'Voices for Justice' event coincided with the launch of the Catholic Bishops' Social Justice Statement, titled 'And you will be my witnesses: young people and justice'. The achievements of Micah Challenge and its impact on Australian politics are discussed.
