Abstract

In this paper, we present our custom RF switch architecture designed in 130nm CMOS that utilizes a clock and data recovery system to extract control signals from the user either in the MedRadio or ISM bands and evaluated with our custom digital controller. The correct operation of the proposed switch architecture is verified by detailed simulations. The RF switch circuit operates on sub-1 mW power (CDR -640 μW) and can control up to 8 enable circuits within an implantable telemetry system.
