Abstract

The San Diego Association of Governments (SANDAG) is helping local jurisdictions and communities solve difficult parking problems with the creation of a Regional Parking Management Toolbox. This tool is designed to assist with parking problem assessment, development and application of strategic solutions, and communication with the parking public. This article outlines the eight steps identified as critical to the success of a parking management program.
