Abstract
Outbreak investigation methods have been best developed for communicable disease, but are also used in non-communicable disease affecting workers. The chapter gives examples of outbreaks of asthma, in occupational and community settings. It describes the approaches that may be taken in investigating a possible outbreak of occupational asthma.
