Abstract
This chapter contains an application of the varied flow theory to the design of a linear drainage channel. The data are taken from a proposed highway drainage scheme. Not all calculations given in the chapter are essential for the designer, but it has been found useful to obtain additional information in order to detect any oddities in the computed values, and to gain confidence in the method of design.
